Tanaé Tate is a multidisciplinary fashion creative who draws inspiration from cultural history, identity, and storytelling. Originally from San Diego, she relocated to Atlanta to immerse herself in a city rich with Black culture, artistic energy, and historical depth. After attending predominantly white schools, Atlanta became a space of reconnection, reflection, and creative awakening. Her work is deeply rooted in heritage and the lived experiences of the African diaspora, which she honors through bold, intentional design. Tanaé uses fashion as a visual language to express narrative, pride, and resistance. Each project she takes on is an opportunity to center Black stories in beautiful, unapologetic form. As her journey continues, Tanaé remains focused on amplifying culture through fashion that speaks.
Tanaé specializes in Fashion Design, Accessory Design, Creative Direction, and Wardrobe Styling. Her work spans from styling and directing visuals for music videos to overseeing concept development and execution for editorial shoots. Tanaé has hands-on experience crafting full creative visions, from clothing and accessories to set styling and mood. She has styled artists and models for both on-camera and live appearances, bringing a cohesive, elevated aesthetic to each look.
